This Week in The Book World:

We have a book content creator starting their own publishing company this week!

Actress, Entrepreneur & investor Tanya Sam and former Oscars Exec Jeanell English are set to launch "Elizabeth and Minnie" publishing.

Tanya Sam

Jeanell English

Tanya is best known as the creator of 'Tanya Time Book Club' and recurring cast member of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

The publishing company's focus is to "amplify Asian, Black, Indigenous, Latino, with a focus on women's stories."

The first books on the slate are a YA Sci-fi and a Murder Mystery.

It's always great to see creators in the space open up more doors for authors, writers, and readers!

Keep an eye out for their books and give them a follow! Tell them Bookum sent you!

This Week in Publishing:

Do you enjoy Summer Mysteries?

New York Times Bestselling author Liz Moore is back with a book sure to be on your End of the Year favorites!

The God of the Woods is being compared to Donna Tartt's 1992 classic The Secret History.

Summary:

Early morning, August 1975: a camp counselor discovers an empty bunk. Its occupant, Barbara Van Laar, has gone missing. Barbara isnā€™t just any thirteen-year-old: sheā€™s the daughter of the family that owns the summer camp and employs most of the regionā€™s residents. And this isnā€™t the first time a Van Laar child has disappeared. Barbaraā€™s older brother similarly vanished fourteen years ago, never to be found.

Make sure to add the book to your TBR list on Bookum and get your copy today!
