Just like old-school wrestling, our regularly scheduled programming (This Week on Bookum, This Week in Book World, and This Week in Publishing sections) of The Bookum Newsletter is being taken over like DX:

What’s an app that can’t do both? You can now enable dark mode for your Bookum feeds.
Zodiac Signs
Set your star sign and get personalized book recommendations based on your astrology, curated by the great people at Love by Luna.
Nook Chat
Each Nook (our real-time audio rooms) now comes with its own text-based chat—perfect for listeners who want to chime in with a comment or question!
Now the audience can ask their questions!
Google & Apple Sign-In
Logging in should be seamless (one of our engineers just rolled their eyes), and now it is! You can now sign in instantly using Google or Apple.
New Draft Features
Save up to 10 posts as drafts—great for Book Club hosts preparing book discussions!
What's Improved?
Book Discovery
We heard you! We've expanded our discovery features with a brand-new book tab sorted by genre, making it easier to find books on the app. We’re still improving (including a book contribution option for indie authors), but this update makes discovery much better!
Audio and Video Nooks
Allow me to reintroduce myself… 🎤 Nooks now have a fresh look with upgraded audio and video quality. Host Cookbook Clubs, group book chats, live reading sprints, and more—all with video!
