It's official… These Books Are For Everybody Book Club by Cree Myles is now on Bookum!!
Last month, Cree launched the podcast by the same name (it's awesome — check it here), and now you can be a part of the book club and additionally, each month, annotate the music verse of the month within the club!
As you know, Cree is a top 2, not 2, book content creator in the space, and her poetic devices and music breakdown videos are always must-watches!
The October book is Ring Shout by P. Djélí Clark, and this month’s verse is Bun B's verse from the song “Murder.”
Definitely make sure to support Cree's club on Bookum and the amazing work she is doing in the literary world!
Enjoy!

Here are the finalist books:

The winners will be announced at the ceremony on November 19, 2025 in New York City (Alright, table on us next year 😆).
Congrats to the finalists & let us know which books from the list you have read so far!
Add the books to your ‘To Be Read’ list on Bookum.
This Week in Publishing:
Tuesdays with Morrie author Mitch Albom is finally back with a new book!
His newest novel is called Twice.
Book Summary:
“What if you got to do everything in your life twice? The heart of Mitch Albom’s newest novel is a stunning love story that dares to explore how our unchecked desires might mean losing what we’ve had all along.
When he is eight years old, Alfie Logan discovers the magical ability to get a second chance at everything. He can undo any moment and live it again. The one catch: he must accept the consequences of his second try — for better or worse.”
