For the most part we stay away from Publishing news in this section, but this week… We got hit with a big shakeup at Penguin Random House.
According to the New York Times, Penguin Random House dismissed two of Its top publishers, Reagan Arthur, who led at Knopf, and Lisa Lucas, head of Pantheon and Schocken.
Lisa Lucas, broke the news on Twitter (give me 6 more months and I promise I'll remember to call it X; also…🤔 that makes her a content creator right 🤔)
The reason we are spotlighting this is because last week we had 25+ year publishing vet Kathleen Schmidt on the Nooks & Founders Talk Podcast and she gave her insight.
